The Most spiritual , miraculous but down to earth ordinary CAR FESTIVAL or it may be called as the divine car festival ( Ratha Yatra ) of LORD JAGANNATH arrives every year I the month of ASHADA OF Hindi calendar. The celebration continues for 10 days with lakhs of people celebrating it with spiritual joy , chanting of the divine name of LORD , singing in praise of Lord, dancing in ecstasy. A similar to more than a paradise is created for that short period which lingers in the heart &mind of a devotee for eternity . The festival inspires in many ways to many a people

For a revolutionary Telugu Poet , Sri Sri , the Lords car appeared as a protector of the poor , deprived, exploited people and appealing them not to worry , not to cry in the following beautiful lines :

JAGATAM AND HAHA

Lord Jagannatha is known for being the Lord of 14 realms (commonly known as worlds). The Lord is known to receive Breakfast at B Badrinath, this Launch at Puri and as a dinner reaches Dwaraka for pure cow milk. This is not for the luxuries of the Lord ., but to assure all his devotees every

+where that he is omnipresent and He is there for their well-being and protection.

The Salvation of a person or in other terms they self are blessed upon by Seven Divine Territories Pilgrimage Territories . One of them Is Puri; a divine abode . The divine abode Pure I is not simply considered as a territory rather said like this :

But a place where , thephysical body of the Lord is being manifested , founded , and worshipped. The difference between the terms PURI and POORI make one clear about the sanctity of the Place . The term PURI refers to PURAM which means the body . It is being stated in Shrimad Bhagavat ‘PURAM JAANO PAKHYANAM’ The Lord’s divine Physical body remained here . Kalebaara the body of the divine Lord , and renewed in the month of every Adhika Ashada excess month Conveying a miraculous storyabout the body . Lord Jagannath thy self is being hidden inside one’s body and one can be aware of THE Lord through intense devotion inwards . A Person having vision of the Lord inside him can be aware of Lord’s divine presence . That is why Puram refers to both the physically manifested body of the Lord as well as Lord’s presence inside one’s Body itself. if one realizes . After having the blessings of divine vision of Lord Jagannath one realizes the Lord’s presence inside himself and nowhere.whatever he celebrates inside or outside of himself is known as Jagannath Utsav

Nava Kalebara Utsav

Lord Jagannath gets the renewed celebration of thy celestial body is otherwise known as NAVA KALEBARA UTSAV Oh.! what a divine astonishment whenever the devotees visits Lord Jagannath thy eyes found remain opening gazing at the world thus no one is escapable from the Lord’s divine vision . In fact the Puranas ( the ancient spiritual records ) describe in great praise or appreciation of this episode . The envision of theGods through these ever opened eyes just like gateways to the vast universe, Those divine eyes instead of beinglotus like are shaped rounded like that of the Sun and the Moon whence the devotees reach the Lord intends to give ‘Abhisekha’ ( pouring holy waters on lord) , The Divine Lord is being carved out of an auspicious tree’s wood specially grown naturally in a pious manner . i.e. the wood provided by Dhrumo daruva Gochho .

If you want to have the glimpse of the divine feet of the Lord, No, they are also not there, not visible to the physical eyes. If you seek protection, you find that the Lord has no physical hands even. But here not visible means unmanifested, but they are there but invisible. As they are indeed metaphysical, cosmic in nature. Whence the divine Parameswara; the ultimate God of the Universe, is praised as permanent, un alternated , but Lord Jagannath receives devotion, offerings, celebrations in such a way along with the periodically arriving devotion and celebration of Nava Kalebara Utsav, no other God or Goddesses receive the same as Lord Jagannath thy self thy Idol receives .

Lord is instructing his devotees in a sublime way to follow the Rice offerings ( Anna Bhoga ) as if as an integral part of a death ritual ( Shraddha). Of course, there is a metaphor behind this sublime instruction that the end of life or call it death is obvious, natural, the death is universal truth remember this truth at all times, So one has to celebrate ones death too.

WHENCE THE AUSPICIOUS PERIOD OF NAVA KALEBARA UTSAV :

A question arises in one’s mind as to whether there is any regular auspicious time for this celebration of Navakalebara Utsav except the one which arrives during the year of Adhika Ashada Masa (Excessive month ) only?.

This auspicious divine moment arrives for this celebration of Navakalebara Utsav sometimes in 8 years, 11 years, 19 years even 27 years. That is the history of the Lord Jagannath temple In the past, The Navakalebara Utsav celebrated in the years: 1912, 1920, 1931, 1950, 1969, 1977, 1996 and 2015

Thy Lord comes out of his temple once in a year outside for s spiritual rally and celebration for 10 days giving an opportunity to the large numbers of devotees crowded in vast numbers celebrating with joy, unlike through the other forms of Lord elsewhere, , the Lords come out and again retreat to their respective abodes in a day only by the time the Bhog ( offering ) readied & put to offering . But Lord Jagannath remains for 10 days outside their usual abode. This is a unique feature of the divine territory of Puri. Rath Yatra the divine Car festival for 10 days, is a blissful feast to the eyes of the lakhs and millions of the devotees for 11 days.

HAVE A DIVINE EXPERIENCE AND GLIMPSES OF LORD JAGANNATHA INSIDE!

Many miracles can be found in the Puri Khetra ( divine territory the Puri ); the Land of Shri Jagannath. if one realizes this phenomenon OF CELEBRATION taking place inside one’s body like the festival along with the presence of Sri Jagannath, such a devotee is really blissful, happiest and the blessed soul in the world. It Would Be The Permanent Spiritual blissful Experience, which is Un Sharable with, Un Expressible by any One But with One Self only. THE TEN INCARNATIONS OF LORD VISHNU

The Lord is not without hands as visible to the naked human eyes but thy hands are extended till the ends of the universe and ever ready to protect thy real devotees , which is only perceivable by the his real devotees only but those deserving protection and blessings only could see those beautiful- hidden hands from the view of everyone and never they are visible to those who commit sins with impunity and sinners who does every negative action to harm endanger cheat the good people faithful & harmless people. When they pray to the Lord heartily with intensity dedication for thy protection and blessings the Lord’s hands extended for their protection, for bestowing blessings.

During Those eras in the ancient past: Lord bestowed upon the seeking and praying helpless – devoted sister DRAUPADI in the form of clothes and protected her honor from the devilish hands of the Dhritarashtra Clan. Then the Lord was Lord Sri Krishna. Lord again protected Gajendra, famous as Gajendra salvation, from the piercing & painful teeth of the crocodile, by sending thy weapon; the Vishnu Chakra; the Wheel

During the era of Treta, As Lord Sri Ram, Lord protected the deprived, exploit, helpless, tribes en route Ayodhya till Sri Lanka through Dandaaranya Region on the pretext of rescuing Maa Seeta from the clutches of demon Ravana. So how could the Lord’s hands are invisible, of course, they are only invisible but it is not true that they are not there.

The divine hands though invisible, but in an invisible manner filled the entire universe ( Brahmanda ) ever prepared readied to send the divine help to the needy eligible devotees from the wrath of the sinners, the attackers, the exploiters. The metaphor for the invisibility of the Lord’s hands conveys that, the physical invisibility of thy hands, not a necessary element visible only to the realized souls.

This truthful spiritual metaphor is further substantiated and strengthened by the way Goddess Kamakshi Devi in Kanchi having no hands for divine blessings.

The Lord had no feet also invisible to the physical eyes but to the realized souls devotees the Lord having got then feet extendable till the ends of the endless universe which got illustrated in the episode of the Baliu the emperor who head was suppressed by those feet, into the oblivion into the abyss, the pataala-lok core of the earth.

Though invisible to the Lord. left Gangas from thy feet unto this world as a friend in the Shri mad Bhagavat.

VISHNU PADADODHBHAVA GANGA!

Thy divine God providing the much-needed life emanating from water ( Ganga ) to this world of course in silence but thy feet invisible to the physical eyes of the ignorant.

This metaphor even further strengthened by the illustration of the physical vision of Varaha Laxmi Narasimha Swamy in Simhachalam divine Khetra having no feet of course to the physical eyes.

The thy ever opened universal eyes of the Lord like Sun and Moon remind us of the commands to the hidden and unmanifested life taking birth through 84 lakhs forms of living beings what they are doing, right wrong , would the Lord blink even for a while the answer is negative as the Lord is possessed with unblinking eyes forever . The universe is watching through the Lords, ever opened eyes, beware oh devotees oh mankind . of your rights things wrongs, cruelest love, compassion, hatredness everything is under the gaze of the Lord under the watch of the universe through the Lord’s eyes.

THE SECRET OF NON-BLINKING EYES OF LORD

This being the hidden secret of ever opened and ever nonblinking eyes of the Lord Jagannath Swamy. Had the Lord Jagannath blinks even for a while, there would be the certain natural catastrophe, chaos only in the world. Lord in monitoring ever and ever, observing the worldly ways and means of the mortal’s devotees, each and every moment of the deeds, inescapable ( Karmas of all earthly being.

Though thy Lord’s hands invisible to an earthly being can be realized soul can only envision the extended hands of thy Lord throughout the endless universe. Which are called as Blessing hands (Abhaya hastas) of the Lord?

Who is doing what, and then how these acts of love, hate, compassion, cruelty what so ever are under the constant, gaze of the Lord in continuity to eternity.

This episode of the metaphor is further strengthened by Lord Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy & thy half-closed eyes in ecstasy ( Artha Nimilitha Netra) and the fully closed eyes of the Shankar, Shiva, in whatever name you may call in ever meditating No one on this earth is immortal is a proposition conveyed by the sculptor of the Lord craved out of the wood or hardened rock but mortal reflected by the illustration that the Lord being carved out of Wood .

IMMORTALITY IS NOT UNIVERSAL BUT UNIVERSAL IS NOT MORTAL

Immortality is not universal but universal is not mortal. Mortality of the physical body is the universal truth.

The image of the divine Lord, also subject to the universal truth of birth, decay, death that is ending. These stages are reflected on eve of the car festival while the Lord gets fiver reflecting the earthly affairs and events.

Though these stages of the universal truth may not have happened in case of some so-called fortunate people. But just like at a stroke of an ax on wood, it would get pierced into pieces. So this life too. An undesirable tragic unexpected incident may take place in one’s life like a stroke of axe on the wood destroying what so ever happen till then changing its structure present existence into oblivion It is valuable metaphorically conveyed message to the earthly beings by the ‘Darumaya’ idol is to expect the unexpected , and human life is subject to changes, unknown tragic incidents .

In the DEVI SAHASRA NAMA SUTRAS, it has been revealed through poetically ‘Mrutudaru Ku tharika’

The divine mother Goddess has arrived like an ax to cut the wood-like-death into pieces, conveying that the Mother Goddess protects the earthly beings from sudden untoward incidents; if prayed, if invoked thy blessings and compassion of the Goddess.

These are the universal truths so during the Nava Kalebara Utsav celebrations the idols carved out of the wood are buried as per the tradition.

The idol of Subhadra between Lord Jagannath and Balabhadra conveys a social message to all, that even marriage of any body’s sister, though she has to leave for her in-law’s house, how they shall maintain cordial, loving relationship with the brother and the matrimonial house conveyed silently.

Throughout a year hundreds of thousands of devotees visit the Lord’s temple in response thy Lord also comes out once in a year in the divine car festival out of thy temple to celebrate for 10 days & giving his divine glimpses (darshan) to lakhs of devotees within days making it possible.

THE SOLAR ENERGIZED LORD

Lord Venkateswara Swamy also has in thy possession seven hills namely 1. Sri, 2. Sesha sailed, 3 Govindachala, 4. Venkatadrui 5. Narayanadri. 6. Vrishabhadri. 7 Vrishadri. Similarly, Lord Jagannath remains upon Neeladri or called Neelachala. BE it KNOWN that Lord Jagannath, energized by the Sun there is an Aruna ( Solar ) Stambha ( Pillar ) at the gate of the Neelachala temple like the existence of the Sun as a Blue colored ornament.

Anoor ( Anirudh)_ is the pilot of Sun’s Horse caravan. Lord Jagannath is decorated with Sankha-chakras. So the temple Gopuram is in the shape of Shankar and upon which a Chakra ( Wheel ) is founded. The Abode of the Lord Jagannath is so vast measuring 665’ x 640’ with a height of 220’ feet looking gigantic and marvelous & beyond any words or description only perceivable and experienced. Lord ‘s has as His wives Sri Devi and Bhoodevi both conveying wealth and land Goddess Earth and Goddess wealth For which countless, people have been catered to with food daily and endlessly paddy traditionally turned into rice and using traditional handcrafted tools and then boiled by wood stuffed traditional soil made stoves using the pottery and these pots are not reused , Pot upon pot like this seven numbers of pots vertically are placed upon the traditional wood fuelled stoves and miracle is the rice in all the seven vertically placed pots equally gets boiled . This is an age-old practice and a miracle and a really one of the minimum proof for the presence of the Lord here. The spiritually charged environment the food offered as Bhoga and Maha Prasad then distributed to the Devotees making the phrase “ Sarvam Jagannatham “ Really True. One English man commented “ World’s biggest 24-hour bank is Tirumala and World’s biggest Food provider ( he stated as a Hotel ) IS Puri”

Life does not mean earning , eating, sleeping and leading a stale , routine , tasteless life Something is amiss It is being indicated by the presence of various mandaps inside the sanctum sanctorum : Natya Mandap ( Dance Platform ) , Bhoga Mandap ( Food offering/ Maha Prasad seven ) and Jagannath Mandap ( Lord’s )

THE DIVINE CARS

Nandighos is the divine car made up of 832 wooden pieces/plates, measuring 45 feet height, and on each side having 8 wheels and Lord Jagannath sitting upon a diamond-studded ( Ratna Maya singhasan )

Sri Krishna ‘s wooden idol with four white horses – Sankhiha, Rochika, Mochini and Taulini found with kallemulu . on the other side Brahma Rudra ka

Tala Dwaja is the divine car made up of 763 wooden pieces with a height of 44 feet and on each side with 7 wheels carries Balabhadrsa Swamy, and piloted by Indra dev’s pilot Maatali

Devadalanam is the divine car with a height of 43 feet and on each side with 6 wheels and Subadhra Devi having seated amidst Goddesses

The CAR- DIVINE CAR OF THE LORD itself represents ONE ’S body which is piloted By its intellect ( Buddhi ) which in turn driven by Lord ParameswarAathe ultimate.

SHIVA SHAKTHI PART 2

Shiva  ‘Gyan Rudraksha’  represents knowledge.

                                                                                                       

Shiva  ‘Gyan Rudraksha’  represents knowledge.  A Parable i.e. a story from the  Shiva Puran illustrates this proposition of  Shiva represents the ultimate knowledge; He is the source of all branches of knowledge and arts such as dance & music. Shiva’s way of music dominated by the; Mrindang’ and ‘Dhamarak’   and the Shiva describable through exclusive Raags of Shankarabharanam, and ‘Chandrakhos’. His dance is Rudra form (Belligerent  Form) and Tandav form (Chaotic form)    and he is known as Nataraja( the king of dances. He remains in a form of mediation always, so he is known as the Yogpurush ( the King of  Yoga /meditation ). He blesses as easily as He destroys. so he is called as Bhola Nath. In thy name lines are written as “ Smasane vasantham …” He plays in cosmic ecstasy like playing ins pleasant season like Vasantha. He is the Adi Bikshu the “The Ancient mendicant’, with valid presumption must have been the source for all mendicants in the universe. Even in the later years of eras, Lord Buddha was also inspired to adapt to the ways of the  Meditation through mendicant –ism that became prevalent particularly in India.

One day  Goddess Laxmi  Devi sarcastically states about  Parvati Maa having no gold ornaments, not an even gold piece for decorating nose. Parvati Maa became gloomy, Look! How Goddess Laxmi has decorated Herself with all the glittering gold, diamonds studded ornaments all over Her body. Anyhow She Is The  Goddess of all that wealth including the Gold existing in the 14 realms of the universe. Of course , Maa Parvathi ( Mother of  Mountains ) , metaphorically the physical form of the Mountains hills on the 14 realms of this universe , containing minerals , mines , water sources , icebergs , caves , living beings ,life forms  from insects to elephants and above all the glittering gold mines; till that moment never thought of possessing any Gold. Because for Lord Shiva here is nothing could be valuable, of any value other than the knowledge, art, wisdom and above all mediation.

Shiva represents even the ecology. One has to realize this from the way He does presents Himself. The moon and River Gangas above   His head, all the Poison inside his Neck so known as ‘Neela Kantha’( Blue colored ) , ‘Garala Kantha’ (Poison necked) , Snake all around His  neck garlanded with the rarest botanical medicinal –spiritual-enhancing plant – fruits of Rudrakshas , His whole body covered with the ash of the  burnt dead bodies from burial ground, sitting over a Tiger’s skin , surrounded with a Peacock , Elephant , human form and a tiniest rat . All this divine Scene of the highest family of Vasudaiva kutumbam ( world reflecting family) over Mount Kailash i.e. The Kailash Lok. Om Namashivaya !! Shivayanamaha !!!

Lord  Shiva always remains in deep meditation, always meditating. Penance !! Such a magnificent God Shiva. But today Goddess Parvati Maa is full of gloom sat there in the Kailash Lok, in a sorrowful mood, Shiva through His divine third eye understood the entire episode beginning from the sarcastic remark made by Goddess Laxmi. He opened his eyes from the ecstasy of meditation and told Parvathi: “ Oh, Parvathi !take this Rudraksha to Maa Laxmi, and ask her to give equally weighing gold”.

As commanded by Shiva, Parvathi approached  Laxmi and requested as told by Shiva for giving her with gold equal to the weight of a Rudraksha. Laxmi thought “oh! This much only, just a piece of gold, I  possess tons and tons of gold throughout the 14 worlds in the cosmos! And instructed Her servants to arrange a weighing machine and began weighing the gold keeping the Rudraksha on another side. Hours passed . all gold from the Vaikuntha then all the gold from earth, was placed on one side of the weighing machine, but the plate containing the Rudraksha remained as it is,  even tons and tons of gold was not equal to one single Rudraksha. Then the pride of Goddess Laxmi was Shattered realizing that the value of spirituality and meditation and wisdom can never be compared to all the gold in the universe. What misfortune was faced by Duryodhan who was the blessed by Her with all the wealth and gold came into her mind? Only knowledge, wisdom, spirituality, mediation are the real invaluable treasures of the mankind and Maa Parvathi also realizing this became blissful, losing Her temporal gloominess. Shiva just gave a blissful smile.      

Think of Indian History, with full of blood and men & women hunting and ruled, nay, misruled, abused, murdered and raped by the  Foreign Muslim Jihadis and European merchants for over a period of 900  years from 900 AD till 1947. What a misery, what a tragedy? All this misery , all this tragedy  of 9 centuries only because was India’s Possession of unlimited wealth of Gold as well as severe , thoughtless ,  caste-based discrimination , socio-economic inequalities in the Indian society ( still continued ) without knowing the basic rule of “United we rise , divided we FALL” we just followed  and still following with zeal, commitment & dedication this craving for Gold and thoughtless, caste-based discrimination, socio-economic inequalities.

HOW KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM, CREATIVE  INTELLIGENCE LIKE UNSEEABLE FACTORS ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO  WEALTH, MONEY, GOLD ETC LIKE MATERIEL THINGS?  

I   have heard many times from many a people, stating that, money is so imminent & important, and how you earn is not material but whether you earned or not is the matter. This proposition gives rise to illegal, immoral, activities and corrupt practices in the society. This phrase ‘in the society’ also not right. This proposition gives rise to illegal, immoral, activities and corrupt practices in an individual and a group such individuals making the society. We call That Society As Corrupted.B ut here the fallacy is the society or a nation are artificial entities and not corrupted or the best the individuals living therein are either corrupted or moral. Then a question arises in my mind if those people who justify illegal, immoral, activities and corrupt practices of an individuals or by a group of individuals and in a society guided by Law, constitution, and justice. then why those who support, justify the corruption, illegally immoral activities visit a temple, a church a Masjid? And pray Shiva, Durga, Vishnu, Jesus, Allah ?  is it for their confessions of guiltiness and to get relief from the future karmic retribution or for god’s apology or Is it at the same time those corrupted ones are supporting to the ethical, religious, righteous factors? How this contradiction is possible?. -These people who justify the corruption on one and fearing & praying the God on the other, Are they not Schizophrenic personalities?    

IS  THE GOD, IN ANY FORM OR formless ( AS A NIRAKARA)    HEARING TO THOSE PRAYERS BY CORRUPTED, HEARTLESS, EXPLOITERS,

The answer is, my dear, corrupt fearless heartless exploiters,  is a BIG NO. No God either in form or formless, would pardon you for the corruption, exploitation, discrimination, all negativities committed against mankind.

IDEAS, WISDOM, INTELLECT & KNOWLEDGE  ARE SUPERIOR TO MONEY, GOLD, WEALTH,

We understand from the above Parable from the Shiva Puran ( the treatise of Shiva )  that Ideas, Wisdom, Intellect & Knowledge are Superior to Money, Gold, Wealth. Still, People in general and the devotees, in particular, crave for those earthly factors instead of knowledge (spiritual), wisdom, and intellect. They visit a  Shiva temple, wherein Siva does never appear in the luxurious form and he is decorated with the snake, tiger skin, ash from the burial ground, nothing else. But Devotees without being aware  of Shiva, pray for wealth, not intellect wisdom or knowledge ( spiritual as well )

As they think  that what is the benefit of  knowledge , stating sarcastically that  Knowledge is not useful ever for cutting grass, money and wealth is all important n   any one’s life and man with knowledge and without wealth or  without being rich , will suffer and what is the use of such a wise one in  a family or in the society . The world would not be joyous of Him, but in contrary, these devotees visit SHIVA AND PRAY OF WEALTH, WHAT A CONTRADICTION!

Shiva  holds a  special place  in Hindu Pantheon, being  referred to as the Supreme Soul  whereas the other figures are called as Deities   as indicated in the prayer – Brahma Avaya namah, Vishnu Avaya Namah, Shiva Paramatmaya Namah”

UNLIKE  the deities, who have a physical form  , Shiva is represented by a Shiva linga because he is always incorporeal. Since Shiva has no creator, his name carries the suffix ‘Shambu’ which is the short form  for ‘swayambhu’ or one who manifests on his own since he is unchanging  and eternal he is also called ‘Sadashiva.’

It is at mind light that worshippers mark the divine descent of God Shivaya . He comes to the world when it is enveloped in the darkness of ignorance thereby everyone has forgotten their true identity that they are souls. people instead think that they are bodies –mere physical entities a belief that gives rise to vices such as ego. lust, and greed. Which are the root cause of human suffering? Shivaratri is not about one night but the entire period of unrighteousness i.e. the latter half of the cycle of the time.

This black period is referred to as the night of Brahma in some Hindu texts. it covers the duration of the copper and iron ages when souls have lost touch with their innate virtues and consequently suffered and still suffering . in contrast during the golden and silver ages called the day of Brahma, souls are in their pure state. As the souls lose their power they are unable to resist vices, which drive them to act in so many, indescribable evil ways.  When they have touched the andhar ( darkness ) in their spiritual downfall and impiety prevails everywhere, the souls call out for salvation thrahi !thrahi..!!.

Just as the sun dispels the darkness of night, God Shiva, the sun of knowledge, drives away evil from the world, He does it him by reminding humans that they( we) are all spiritual beings. He tells them that they are His children and that their sorrow and suffering would end if they remained aware of being souls and remembered Him; the Almighty. This remembrance empowers the soul enabling it to break the grip of vices.

In Dharma Samhita of Shiva Puran, it is stated that at the end of Kaliyug Iron age a magnificent light revealed itself blindingly luminous and radiant. This world was created through this light it is said.

Shiva whose name literally means the benefactor actually creates a new spiritual consciousness that acts as the seed from which a righteous world order emerges. In this process, the old order is swept away and those who act on God’s teachings become His instruments in sustaining the rejuvenated world.

Shivaratri, in effect, commemorates the rejuvenation of the world carried out by God Shiva. The Tribune the three lines on the Shiva lingam signifies the tasks of creation, destruction, and sustenance performed by God. They also symbolize the titles of ‘Trinetri’ or one who has the third eye of wisdom Srinath the master of three worlds and ‘Tri Kal dashi’ the one who knows the past, present, and future.

Today, when the world is witnessing growing violence and suffering it, would be apt to take our Shivaratri celebrations beyond mere rituals. Following the directions of Shiva the benefactor on this occasion, we can do our bit to dispel gloom, suffering, agony, anguish, pain, all negatives from the planet by banishing some of the evil that lurks within us. A small first step could be to give up petty ways of thinking and be more accommodating and generous to those who are less fortunate than us. This will help remove much sorrow and creates a kinder society.                                                                                                                                                                       

                                                                                                                               

Shiva  ‘Gyan Rudraksha’  represents knowledge.

One day  Goddess Laxmi  Devi sarcastically states about  Parvati Maa having no gold ornaments, not the even gold piece for decorating nose. Parvati Maa became gloomy, Look How Goddess Laxmi has decorated Herself with all the glittering gold diamonds studded ornaments all over Her body. Till that moment she never thought of Gold. Lord Shiva always remains in deep meditation, He is decorated with a Snake ……sites on a tiger skin, further RUdrakshas masala all around his neck.  ALWAYS MEDITATING. PENANCE,!! Such a magnificent God Shiva. But today Goddess Parvati Maa is full of gloom sat there in the Kailash Lok (a realm of Kailash, in a sorrowful mood, Shiva through His divine third eyes understood the entire episode began from the sarcastic remark of Goddess Laxmi. He opened his eyes from the ecstasy of meditation and told Parvathi: “ take this Rudraksha to Maa Laxmi, and ask her to give equally weighing gold “ As commanded by Shiva, Parvathi approached Laxmi and asked for giving her gold equal to the weight of rudraksha of Shiva. Laxmi thought in internally “ oh ! this much only I possess ton and tons of gold throughout the 14 worlds in the cosmos ! and instructed Her servants to arrange a weighing machine and began weighing the gold with RUDRAKSHA ON ANOTHER SIDE. HOURS PASSED.

Canada’s  soul filled with bliss, Yama reached, he looked at bird ….Narada suspecting  danger to bird in the hands of Yama, took it to beyond 7 seas and hidden inside a tree …..after  some days, Yama met Narada asked about the bird,,,,, and smiled ….. so what I had visualised, about the destiny of the bird became true, that bird has to be solved by a cobra beyond seven seas inside a tree. And Narada only took it to its death . . . . no one can change the scheme of the universe.    

You and Shiva, You and  Krishna become one and the same. There is no difference in that last state the mediator AND THE MEDIATED  ARE ONE AND THE SAME.

SHIVOHAM

Vedas are considered as the greatest education amongst education.

Amongst Vedas, the rudram with namak chamak mantras contained in the Samhita kanda is the greatest.

The Mantra therein, “OM NAMASHIVAYA “  is the greatest. Those who cannot either know or pronounce the five lettered ( Panchachhari ) MAY DERIVE THE SAME BENEFIT BY chanting “ SHIVA“, WHICH IS  THE GREATEST SHORTEST MANTRA.

The Other names for Shiva are Shankara sankaroti it sankaraha connoting the peace provider!

• Government agencies both at the state and central level, voluntary organizations, Christian missionaries, different other agencies, and individuals are engaged for tribal development since half a century. Yet our tribal brothers are more or less in the same peculiar state as they were before. Then where lies the remedy? This question has been baffling our planners’ policymakers administrators and other agencies involved in the welfare of the tribals.
• Pundits have discussed the problems in many forums since long and also laid down the mechanism of execution and extension of programmes for the development of the tribal population and are. Perhaps the executors of tribal development programmes and schemes; in their zeal to better the lives of tribes as early as possible; have overlooked the cultural and environmental background of the community while introducing modern technologies and imported economic theories. Such desperate efforts of interference with the lifestyle of tribal’s by the teams of cross-cultural missions are bound to fail in achieving the goal. The development programmes and schemes which were introduced from time to time for the tribal’s has no positive impact, as a consequence, they were not accepted by them. On the contrary, such approaches rather created peculiar emotional resentment because they were not in consonance with their cultural background.
• Forest is the home, source of income, cultural center and everything for the tribals. But the Britishers snatched away their basic rights by promulgating the forest act in 1894 and made the forests the commercialized property of the state which had opened the floodgates of exploitation. Ultimately the tribal community was reduced to a state of extreme poverty. However prior to the forest Act, 1874declaring that in certain specified districts, the normal legislation and jurisdiction shall not come in to force or with modifications. In 1931 census, the first attempt was made to enlist them as ‘Backward tribes’ and the thirteen scheduled to the govt. of India (Provincial Legislative Assembly order,1936) recognized certain tribes as backward in Assam, Bihar, Orissa, Central province, Berar, Madras, and Bombay.
• After the independence, considering the background of our tribal population, the framers of our Constitution have made certain special provisions with an aim to uplift the economic conditions of the tribal population on par with the rest of the people keeping their cultural identity intact. The constitution provided in the article 338 to appoint a special officer for the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes to investigate all matters relating to safeguard provided under the constitution and report to the President.
• The special officer mentioned in article 338 was designated as the commissioner on 18.11.1050. Sri Srikant was appointed as first Commissioner in 1950. Sri Srikant   had continued till 1961 and was succeeded by Sri Anil K. Chandra (1962-66), Sri S cc Sen Gupta(1966-67), Prof. Nirmal Kumar Bose( 1967-70), Sri Shankar Rao Mane (1971-76),Shri Shishir Kumar(1976-81), Dr.B.D Sharma(1986-1991) and Sri S.P.Bagla(1991-1992).
• The institution of the Commissioner for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes was weakened by the Govt in June 1967 resolved to create another body under Social Welfare Department headed by the Director General Class Welfare. Field offices of the Commissioner; which was functioning as ‘eyes and ears’; were regrouped under two different heads in spite of strong resentment from the parliament committee. There was a persistent demand by the ST & ST representatives that the specialist Officer under Article 338 be replaced by an effective independent multimember Commission by an executive resolution due to which a particular situation was created; intentionally or coincidentally; by which the statutory office of the Specialist Officer for SC’S &ST’S continued along with the non statutory commission for the SC’S & ST’S. The first chairman of this commission was Sri Bhola Paswan Shastry(1978 to 1981) and was succeeded by Sri Rajamallu.
• Finally, in the year 1990, the National Commission for SC’s &ST’s was created by amending the Article 338 with special powers to collect evidence and ensures attendance like civil courts and with other wide powers.
• In addition to the above discussed statutory commission under Article 338, Govt. had set up other Commissions from time to time under Article 339 by the Home Affairs, Community Development, Welfare, Planning Commission and other various departments for different purposes. Thus a good number of reports were prepared from time to time to highlight the tribal problems. Some of the often referred reports are- Verrier Elwin Report-1960, UN Dhebar Report-1961, B.K Roy Burman report-1982, and the latest being the B.D.Sharma’S 29th report under Article 338, Bhuria Committee Report-1995.
• Now we feel, in spite of ample security provisions under the Constitution and so much homework on t
• Tribal development with the rural area development. The tribal areas; that is called as scheduled areas; are remote, inaccessible, domesticated hilly or sloppy. Their natural resources endowment is vastly different from that of the plains. On account of their age-long seclusion. The tribal communities have been cut off from the mainstream. Thus the tribal have certain culture and psyche of their own. These factors make it incumbent to set both planning and its execution at the grass root level i.e in our present context at the ‘Block’ Level.
• Against this background, we are submitting here with the third chapter of the Verrier Elwin Report-1960 to have the fundamentals of an approach to the tribes and the gist of the D.O. letter of Dr.B.C. Sharma has written to the President of India in1990 while presenting the twenty-ninth Report as the Commissioner of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes to understand the present scenario of the tribes and tribal area of our country.
• The editor wishes to thank Dr. Giridhari Gomango, Sri  ………………..for their valuable discussions on the issues from time to time, out of which this book has come up.

My special emphasis being the Schedule District of Koraput. mahesh I am in pain whenever I come across those tribesmen, women 7 children who are far away from the fruits of development. They even are not conscious of this fact that they are far removed from the modernity, development, civilization and remained poor. When I look at those poor beings , the gods own children exploited , cheated , violated by some of the      so-called the modern fellows , politicians, businessmen, contractors , truck drivers , etc . the list is endless , every man this reminds me of the times of the Americans exploiting the red Indians the black men and women studies of the roots Alex Hailey, focuses on those atrocities, the similar kind of exploitation is going on upon these hapless souls since timeless times . unsatiable, unthinkable by any sensible ones, from the masons to political toots

4.Understanding a tribe

Six hundred thirty-five tribal communities are an archaic segment of Indian population. The tribal population represents 7.76% of the tribal population in India. They speak 105 languages and 225subsidiary languages. In spatial and cultural consideration Indian tribal population is at widely different stages of social as well as economic development. Hence, they do not form any permanent crystalline structure. The concept of tribe is thus of paramount importance to understand tribes in an Indian context. The term tribe has been derived from the middle east term tribuz which has a Latin root. Etymologically the term stands as follows; group of primitive or barbarous clans under-recognized chiefs( oxford encyclopedic Dictionary Voi 3,1983) dictionary of Anthropology (Winick,1956) defined the tribe as follows: a tribe is a social group usually with a definite area, dialect, cultural homogeneity and unifying social organization. It may include several subgroups, such as sibs or villages. A tribe ordinarily has a leader and may have a common ancestor and patron deity. The families or small communities making up the tribe are linked together through social, religious, family or blood relation.

 In India, the tribes are also termed by different names, viz. ADIVASI(first settlers),BHUMIPUTRA(son of the soil),JANJATI(folk people) ADIM JATI(original community),VANYAJATI(castes of the forest),ANUSUCHI JANAJATI(sub-caste),GIRIJA(hill dwellers) and so on. But none of them except the ADIVASI seems to be appropriate imperial Gazetteer of India as early as 1891 first defined the tribe as a tribe is the collection of families bearing a common name, speaking a common territory and is not endogamous, though originally it might have been so. ACCORDING TO MAJUMDAR: a tribe is a social group with territorial affiliation, endogamous with no specialization of functions, ruled by tribal officers, hereditary or otherwise, united in language or dialect recognizing social distance from other tribes or castes without any stigma attached in case of a caste structure, following tribal traditions, beliefs, customs, illiberal of neutralization of ideas from alien sources; above all conscious of a homogeneity of ethnic or territorial integration(28th report of the commissioner for the scheduled caste and scheduled tribes, 1988). In course of the process of acculturating none of the tribal communities follow all the definitions formulated a list of criteria of universal validity. In the Indian context, the tribe is a conceptual idea, used mainly to distinguish a type of society from another. The most important standard parameters which help us to understand tribes in India are the following:

1.distinctive tribal language and seminary social structure(Baily,1960).

2.low level of techno-economic development(Dube,1960).

3.distinctive political mechanism and tribal solidarity(orans,1965)

4. habitat in a contiguous geographical territory(naik,1968).

5.educational backwardness(Vidyarthi,1972).

6. lack of specializations and least functional interdependence (bhowmick, 1980).
7. Predominantly rural, overwhelmingly illiterate, abjectly poor and depressingly malnourished and unhealthy(Singh.1987,1988)

 

5.Provisions for the scheduled tribes in our constitution

FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS-(Part 111 of the constitution)

Article-29 Protection of interests of minorities. ( Cultural &Educational rights)

• Any section of the citizens residing in the territory of India or any part thereof having a distinct language, script or culture of its own shall have the right to conserve the same.

Article=31B. Validation of certain Acts and regulations.

Without prejudice to the generality of the provisions contained in article 31A, none of the Acts and Regulations specified in the Ninth Schedule nor any of the provisions thereof shall be deemed to e void, or ever to have become void, on the ground that such Act, Regulation or provisions of this part, and notwithstanding any judgment, decree or order of any court or tribunal to the contrary, each of the said Acts and Regulation shall, subject to the power of any competent Legislature to repeal or amend it, continue in force.

Directive principles of state policy (part  4 of the constitution)

Article 37 application of the principles contained in this part

The provisions contained in this part shall not be enforceable by any court, but the principles therein laid down are nevertheless fundamental in the governance of the country and it shall be the duty of the State to apply these principles in making laws.

NOTES: The fundamental and directive principles constitution the ‘conscience’ of our constitution. There is no conflict between the Directive Principles and Fundamental rights. They are complementary to each other. It can be said that the directive principles prescribed the goal to be attained and the fundamental rights lay down the means by which that goal was to be achieved. It is not necessary to sacrifice either of them for the sake of the other- Minerva mills vrs. Union of India (1980) 3s.C.C. 625.

Article-38 State to secure a social order for the promotion of the welfare of the people.

• The state shall strive to promote the welfare of the people by securing and protecting as effectively as it may a social order in which justice, social, economic and political, shall inform all the institutions of the national life.
• The state shall, in particular, strive to minimize the inequalities in income, and endeavor to eliminate inequalities in status, facilities, and opportunities, not only amongst individuals but also amongst groups of people residing in different areas or engaged in different vocations.

Article-39 Certain principles of policy to be followed by the State

The state shall, in particular, direct its policy towards securing-

• That the citizens, men, and women equally have the right to be adequate means of livelihood;
• That the ownership and control of the material resources of the community are so distributed as best to subserve the common good;
• That the operation of the economic system does not result of the wealth and means of production to the common detriment ;
• That there is equal pay for equal work for both men and women;
• That the health and strength of workers, men, and women. And the tender age of children are not abused and that citizen are not forced by economic necessity to enter evocations unsuited to their age or strength;
• That children are given opportunities and facilities to develop in a healthy manner and in conditions of freedom and dignity and that childhood and youth are protected against exploitation and against moral and material abandonment.

Article-40 organization of village Panchayats.

The state shall take steps to organize village Panchayats and endow them with such powers and authority as may be necessary to enable them to function as units of self-government.

Article-46 promotion of educational and economic interests of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and other weaker sections.

The state shall promote with special care the educational and economic interests of the weaker sections of the people, and, in particular, of the scheduled Casts and the Scheduled Tribes, and shall protect them from social injustice and all forms of exploitation.

Cow has been in the center of our Nation’s economic activity since ages, and even today, in this age of Information Technology, no Scientist or a computer savvy, pub- going modern hippies can afford to say that the Cow and the cultivation cannot be regarded as the primary sectors of the production in our or any nation. Because even a beast knew it well that, without food and milk and milk related products one is bound to die and destroy the society and the economy as Cow is founded upon as the economy itself revolving around these primary sectors since ages.

Then a question arises, as to the status of anybody to be called as either a beast or lower than a beast or put in the words of spiritualism as “the demons” who favour the cow slaughter and thereby, help ruining the cultivation of a nation , by a mindless industrialization, un mindful of its evil effects on Agriculture , in the name of the SEZ( Special Economic Zones ) and acquiring thousands of acres of fertile lands for greedy Corporate needs , and turning a blind eye towards the needs of the nation’s populace for the agriculture production. The following sequence of the Economic model of priority-wise – pyramid would make it expressly clear about the realizing the Importance of and the need for the Cow and the cultivation.

The Priority wise pyramid model of the interdependence of the cow & the agriculture is as follows:

Every citizen; despite his/her religious backgrounds, is a socio-economic animal as said by Aristotle. So every individual needs food for his/her very survival, not computers, technologies, hard ware’s software etc.

Therefore Food is the essential and basic human need, and for his/her needs for food, he/she depends on Agriculture and Cow/cattle which form the primary sector of an economy.

The primary sector of agriculture < interdependent > Cows as an Agro related wealth > Cottage, small scale, large scale industrial units, < interdependent > share market, shareholders, Bankers, Brokers, investors, depositors etc international trade.The Corporate SENSEX, or the Shareholdings their prices all activities depend upon agriculture and which depends upon monsoons i.e. Nature. So Nature is the ultimate base for the economy of a nation. And Cattle forms an integral part and parcel of the agriculture.

Ø Cow /cattle as the Providers of alternative fertilizer & the Food by-products

Ø Cottage small or medium or large scale industries

Ø Share market & corporate companies

Ø The Public & Private Finance

Ø Consumer & citizens needs and governance

Agriculture depends upon the Rain God even the irrigation alternative irrigation means dependent on the Rain

Hence the Rain Gods are traditionally worshipped and invited through ‘Yagyans’the Holy Fires.

So The Rains / Monsoons, If arrived on time, the agriculture would be productive and the people would not starve and could fulfill their basic needs and the investors in the share market could make good returns! So the sharemarket would be an upward trend!

And The Government would be stable, as the society would be stable and normal!

So the monsoon and the agriculture are basically necessary for the share markets and others who are dependent on them it is not the agriculture and the monsoon dependent on the share market!

At best or in the worst that these corporate with the investments of the shareholders does is ruining the environment and the ecology and leading to environmental pollution and affecting the monsoons and ultimately the agriculture!

THE ULTIMATE OF SCHEME OF THINGS REPRESENTED AS A MODEL IS:

Rains >< agriculture > < cows > agro output > < companies < > Turn over <> Productivity <> Profits >< Share market < Investors < Depositors <> Stable society > Stable Government !

Rains < > Environment < >Ecology.

So the Government and the General Public And As Well As The Corporate Companies shall realize about the importance op\ the Indian way of living traditions of worshipping the inviting the rain Gods and other Indian traditions of the worshipping the Cow as the holy creature. The by-products of the cattle are as follows :

Cow < > Milk > Buttermilk > Ghee > sweets > Butter > Chocolates >

Industries = milk packaging units = butter milk = ghee = butter units = sweet exports and sales units = bio gas units.
Cow dung + urine used as fertilizer natural bio manure which the European nations are importing from India through the Mumbai port.
In end, the government, the public, the corporate companies have to realize how important it would be to protect the Cow from the slaughterhouse!

In a nation which is pre dominantly Agrarian,. The inhuman and barbaric, unproductive and environmentally harmful slaughter of the cows cannot be allowed for even a fraction of second henceforth, if so, all the right-thinking ones would be a simply bystanders and watchers to this inhumanly perpetrated on the innocent, unproductive, hapless defenseless animals by some ignorant, devilish-natured, anti-social anti-agriculture, thereby, anti-national persons despite their religious backgrounds.

Certainly, a Hindu cannot and will not perpetrate such a barbaric act of slaughter of the cows, if anyone does, it would have to be presumed that he is an anti-national too!

So any nation’s wealth is dependent on not corporate companies or sez’s but on agriculture & the cows.

THE DEPENDENT FACTORS AND THE RESOURCES

The dependent factors and the Resources are classified as follows:

Farmers, Agriculture Scientists, rural Labor resources, Blacksmiths, Vegetable sellers retailers (since recently even the Reliance Ambanis too), Exporters and Importers the consumers from all walks of life, Food Processing centers. Transport. Share Market depends on AGRICULTURE.

Agricultural output & the Ecology and the Environmental systems, to be free from pollution and to gain an unharmful Agro output, Cow is essential for the supply of natural bio manure and fertilizer. So Agriculture includes the Cow and the cattle. The Supplementary food products like the milk, curd, ghee, butter, Kova, milk made chocolates etc are the products ‘blessed’ by the Cow by way of a surplus economic output. A surplus is

The Most spiritual, miraculous but down to earth ordinary CAR FESTIVAL or it may be called as the divine car festival ( Ratha Yatra ) of LORD JAGANNATH arrives every year I the month of ASHADA OF Hindi calendar. The celebration continues for 10 days with lakhs of people celebrating it with spiritual joy, chanting of the divine name of LORD, singing in praise of Lord, dancing in ecstasy. A similar to more than a paradise is created for that short period which lingers in the heart &mind of a devotee for eternity. The festival inspires in many ways to many a people

For a revolutionary Telugu Poet, Sri sri, Lord’ss car appeared as a protector of the poor, deprived, exploited people and appealing them not worry, not to cry in the following beautiful lines :

JAGATAM NADHAHA

Lord Jagannath is known for being the Lord of 14 realms (commonly known as worlds). The Lord is known to receive Breakfast at Badrinath, this Launch at Puri and as a dinner reaches Dwaraka for pure cow milk. This is not for the luxuries of the Lord ., but to assure all his devotees everywhere that he is omnipresent and He is there for their well-being and protection.

The term PURI refers to PURAM which means the body. It is being stated in Shrimad Bhagavat ‘PURAM JAANO PAKHYANAM’ The Lord’s divine Physical body remained here. Kalebaara the body of the divine Lord, and renewed in the month of every Adhika Ashada excess month Conveying a miraculous story about the body. Lord Jagannath thy self is being hidden inside one’s body and one can be aware of THE Lord through intense devotion inwards. A Person having a vision of the Lord inside him can be aware of Lord ’s divine presence. That is why Puram refers to both the physically manifested body of the Lord as well as Lord’s presence inside one’s Body itself. if one realizes. After having the blessings of divine vision of Lord Jagannath one realizes the Lord’s presence inside himself and nowhere. whatever he celebrates inside or outside of himself is known as Jagannath Utsav

Nava Kalebara Utsav

Lord Jagannath gets the renewed celebration of thy celestial body is otherwise known as NAVA KALEBARA UTSAV Oh.! what a divine astonishment whenever the devotees visit Lord Jagannath thy eyes found remain opening gazing at the world thus no one is escapable from the Lord’s divine vision. In fact, the Puranas ( the ancient spiritual records ) describe in great praise or appreciation of this episode.T he envision of the Gods through these ever opened eyes just like gateways to the vast universe, Those divine eyes instead of being lotus like are shaped rounded like that of the Sun and the Moon whence the devotees reach the Lord intends to give ‘Abhisekha’ ( pouring holy waters on lord) , The Divine Lord is being carved out of an auspicious tree’s wood specially grown naturally in a pious manner . i.e. the wood provided by Dhrumo daruva Gochho.

If you want to have the glimpse of the divine feet of the Lord, No, they are also not there, not visible to the physical eyes. If you seek protection, you find that the Lord has no physical hands even. But here not visible means unmanifested, but they are there but invisible. As they are indeed metaphysical, cosmic in nature. Whence the divine Parameswara; the ultimate God of the Universe, is praised as permanent, un alternated , but Lord Jagannath receives devotion, offerings, celebrations in such a way along with the periodically arriving devotion and celebration of Nava Kalebara Utsav, no other God or Goddesses receive the same as Lord Jagannath thy self thy Idol receives .

Lord is instructing his devotees in a sublime way to follow the Rice offerings ( Anna Bhoga ) as if as an integral part of a death ritual ( Shraddha). Of course, there is a metaphor behind this sublime instruction that the end of life or call it death is obvious, natural, the death is universal truth remember this truth at all times, So one has to celebrate ones death too.

WHENCE THE AUSPICIOUS PERIOD OF NAVA KALEBARA UTSAV :

A question arises in one’s mind as to whether there is any regular auspicious time for this celebration of Navakalebara Utsav except the one which arrives during the year of Adhika Ashada Masa (Excessive month ) only?.

This auspicious divine moment arrives for this celebration of Navakalebara Utsav sometimes in 8 years, 11 years, 19 years even 27 years. That is the history of the Lord Jagannath temple In the past, The Navakalebara Utsav celebrated in the years: 1912, 1920, 1931, 1950, 1969, 1977, 1996 and 2015

LORD JAGANNATH ‘S DIVINE GLIMPSE ALONGSIDE THY SISTER SUBHADRA IS A SOCIAL MESSAGE TOO

Then the Lord was in the incarnation of Lord Sri Krishna. Then Lord again protected Gajendra, famous as Gajendra salvation, from the piercing teeth of the crocodile, by sending thy weapon ; the Chakra ; the Wheel The divine hands though invisible , but in invisible manner filled the entire universe ( Brhmanda ) with thyself , which is known to us the mortals as ‘VISWAROOPA “ ever prepared, ready for every moment to send the divine help to the needy eligible devotees from the wrath of the sinners , the attackers , the exploiters . Just your surrender ness to, your devotion to, your unshakable faith in the Lord is required. The devotion of the devotees is itself His strength, to derive the protection of the Lord against those Sinners, exploiters, corrupt and anarchists.

The metaphor for the invisibility of the Lord’s hands conveys that, the physical invisibility of thy hands, not a necessary element when they are visible only to the realized souls only.

This truthful spiritual metaphor is further substantiated and strengthened by the way Goddess KAMAKSHI DEVI IN KANCHI having no hands for divine blessings.

“VISHNU PADADODHBHAVA GANGA”

The Lord had no feet also invisible to the physical eyes but to the realized souls devotees the Lord having got thy feet extendable till the ends of the endless universe which got illustrated in the episode of the Baliu; the emperor who head was suppressed by those feet, into the oblivion into the abyss. patala lok; the core of the earth. Though the Lord Vishnu remains elusive, invisible but omnipotent left Gangas from thy feet unto this world as affirmed in the Shri mad Bhagavat. Thus it was said “VISHNU PADADODHBHAVA GANGA”

This metaphor even further strengthened by the illustration of the physical vision of Varaha Laxmi Narasimha Swamy in Simhachalam divine Khetra having no feet of course to the physical eyes.

LORD IS WATCHING EVERYTHING

The thy ever opened universal eyes of the Lord like Sun and Moon remind us of the command s to the hidden and unmanifested life taking birth through 84 lakhs forms of living beings what they are doing, right wrong , would the Lord blink even for a while the answer is negative as the Lord is possessed with unblinking eyes forever . The universe is watching through the Lords, ever opened eyes, beware, oh ! devotees, oh! mankind . of your right things & wrongs, cruelest attitudes, your love and compassion, hatred ness everything is under the gaze of the Lord under the watch of the universe through the Lord’s eyes.

This being the hidden secret of ever opened and ever non-blinking eyes of the Lord Jagannath Swamy. Had the Lord Jagannath blinks even for a while, there would be a certain natural catastrophe, chaos only in the world. Lord in monitoring ever and ever, observing the worldly ways and means of the mortals’ devotees, each and every moment of the deeds, inescapable ( Karmas of all earthly being.

Though thy Lord’s hands invisible to an earthly being can be realized soul can only envision the extended hands of thy Lord throughout the endless universe. Which are called as Abhaya hastas( BLESSING HANDS ) of the Lord?

Who is doing what, and then how these acts o0f love, hate, compassion, what so ever are under the constant gaze of the Lord in continuity to eternity.

This episode of the METAPHOR IS FURTHER STRENGTHENED BY Lord Tirumala Venkateswara Swamy ( Artha Nimilitha Netra) the half-closed eyes in ecstasy of the Lord and the fully closed eyes of the Shankar in ever meditating No one on this earth is immortal is a proposition conveyed by the sculptor of the Lord craved out of the wood or hardened rock but mortal reflected by the illustration that the Lord being carved out of Wood .

IMMORTALITY IS NOT UNIVERSAL BUT UNIVERSE IS IMMORTAL

REALIZATION OF THE ULTIMATE TRUTH.

Buddhism is one of the world’s great religions or philosophy. The religion is based on the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama,  subsequent upon His realization of the absolute & ultimate Truth known as The Buddha, who lived approximately between 557 B.C. to 477 B.C. The word “Buddha” means a Supremely Enlightened One or Fully Awakened One. He is also known as a Tathagata for the realized  Buddha was calm in thinking, calm in speech, calm in actions and calm in thy walking too. So he is also known as  Tathagata who has won the realization of the True Permanent Absolute Reality, THE ULTIMATE TRUTH.

The fundamental Buddhism is based on extensive study and interpretation of the English translations of the Buddha’s discourses, almost 11,000 pages, translated in 16 volumes. They are part of the Tipitaka, a total of 12,800 pages.

These discourses were compiled almost immediately after the Buddha’s Parinirvana (death) by the thousands of monks the Buddha established during his 45-year ministry. They were committed to writing in 29 B.C. They contain the heart of Buddhist teachings and are recognized by all Buddhist scholars as the oldest in existence.

For a definitive understanding of what the Buddha really taught, there is no substitute for these recognized oldest written records of what the Buddha actually said. The first 3 volumes that are recommended for study are  as follows :

PERMANENT REALITY  OF LIFE  :

These discourses uttered by the Buddha, which deal with realizing True Permanent Reality, ARE AN EFFECTIVE TEACHER to those seeking Enlightenment, for those seeking Nirvana (Nibbana), for those seeking the escape from all anguish and suffering, for those seeking the Ultimate Truth.

THE LIFE  OF SIDDHARTHA GAUTAMA:

Siddhartha Gautama was born a prince in a kingdom around what is now the border area between India and Nepal. At the age of 29, desiring to know the path that leads to the ending of all impermanence and anguish, to ensuring his permanent well-being, he renounced everything of the world, becoming a homeless ascetic, vowing to find the way to True Ultimate Reality.

WHO IS  A BODHISATTVA,

He is a Bodhisattva, who goes through an intense period of development and practice in order to attain the realization of Perfect Wisdom, Total Supreme Enlightenment, Buddha-hood.

At the age of 35, by way of total focus of his entire being on this single goal, he accomplished his purpose and attained the realization of Perfect Wisdom. He found the answer that leads to the complete cessation of all impermanence and anguish, that lead to reaching the other shore that is Permanent True Reality – Nirvana. He then began to teach, instruct and guide others who similarly were seeking Wisdom and Enlightenment. It is the teaching of The Buddha that is the foundation of Buddhism.

TRUTH  & BLIND  FAITH :

In fundamental Buddhism, the emphasis is on seeing Truth, on knowing it, and on understanding it. The emphasis is NOT on BLIND faith. The teaching of Buddhism is on “come and see” but never on come and believe. Buddhism is rational and requires personal effort, stating that by only one’s own efforts can Perfect Wisdom be realized. Each individual is responsible for his or her own emancipation from anguish and suffering.

Buddhism allows each individual to study and observe Truth internally and requires no blind faith before acceptance. Buddhism advocates no dogmas, no creeds, no rites, no ceremonies, no sacrifices, no penances, all of which must usually be accepted on blind faith. Buddhism is not a system of faith and worship but rather it is merely a Path to Supreme Enlightenment.

BUDDHISM IS A RAFT TO REACH THE SHORE OF BLISS FROM THE SHORE OF SUFFERING

The Buddha referred to his teaching as simply a raft to leave this shore of suffering and impermanence, and to get to the other shore of bliss and safety, True Permanent Reality, Nirvana. Upon realization of Nirvana, the raft is no longer needed.

The Buddha referred to his teaching as the Middle Path, called this because it avoids the extremes of both self-indulgence in the world and the self-mortification of strict asceticism. The path he taught incorporates both intellectual progress plus spiritual progress with the practice that reflects compassion, morality, wisdom, and concentration while at the same time seeing and understanding the world of existence as it truly is.

It should be noted in this dialogue, which attempts to outline what Buddhism really is, that no coercion, no persecutions, and no fanaticism play any part in Buddhism.

PATH OF ESCAPE

Buddhism is the PATH OF ESCAPE for those seeking the permanent end here and now of all anguish. And what exactly is anguish? Anguish is birth, suffering, pain, sorrow, sickness, disease, old age, decay, death, grief, despair, poverty, evil, lamentations, woe, tribulations, misfortune, war, insanity, hunger, unfulfilled wants, unfulfilled basic needs, association with the unwanted, disassociation from the wanted, and is what is unstable and uncontrollable. Buddhism is for those who have come to see that what has been CREATED is IMPERMANENT; and that whatever is impermanent is inherently ILL. No permanent bliss or happiness is to be found in what is impermanent, only pain and peril.

The aim of living the path of the doctrine of Buddhism is to plunge into Nirvana. It has Nirvana as its goal. Nirvana is its ending. True Reality realized. The Uncreated, the Unborn, the permanent bliss of Nirvana. The Eightfold Noble Path of Buddhism is the means to this end. Eight activities – a very specific course of actions – that must be simultaneously developed to realize the goal, Nirvana.

The first part of the Eightfold Noble Path is RIGHT VIEW or RIGHT UNDERSTANDING. This means knowing the Four Noble Truths.

The First Noble Truth is the knowledge that ALL that has been CREATED is IMPERMANENT. And whatever is impermanent is inherently ILL. And what is impermanent and ill is SELFLESS.

Two is the knowledge that the arising of ill is based on ignorance and it is perpetuated by the craving and intoxication for sensuality and sensations, becoming a ‘rebecoming’, delusion and ignorance.

There is the knowledge that the CEASING of this illness that has arisen, the stopping of all future ‘becomings’, is Nirvana. True Reality realized, freed of this ill.

Four is the knowledge of the Eightfold Noble Path that leads to the cessation of this illness and to winning the goal: Nirvana. The true Permanent State of Self, Permanent Changeless Absolute Reality ITSELF, ‘Suchness’, Perfect Wisdom.

The second part is RIGHT THINKING or RIGHT AIM. This means to aspire to attain realization of Perfect Wisdom, the Ultimate True Permanent Reality. To abstain from all evil acts of thought. To attain the total destruction of all cravings. To renounce all manifesting, all constructions, all that is “created” make-believe.

To develop dispassion, total detachment, absolute renunciation, self-surrender. To bring about the cessation of all “created” realities. To Self-Realize the Incomparable Awakening of Self. To win the freedom of Mind, the freedom through Perfect Intuitive Wisdom, the sane and immune emancipation of Will.

The third part is RIGHT SPEECH. To abstain from all lying speech, all perjurious speech, all evil abusive speech and all frivolous speech. To engage in speech and discussion that pertains to and leads to Nirvana, to what’s actually PERMANENT and REAL.

The fourth part is RIGHT ACTION. To abstain from all killing of all creatures. To abstain from all stealing. To abstain from all sensual and sexual misconduct. To abstain from all evil acts. To abstain from all forms of intoxication.

The fifth part is RIGHT LIVING. To abstain from all evil ways of living; to abstain from all evil methods of livelihood.

The sixth part is RIGHT EFFORT. To destroy all EVIL STATES OF MIND that have already arisen; to keep NEW evil states of mind FROM arising; to maintain and grow GOOD STATES OF MIND that have already arisen; and to make grow NEW good states of mind that have not yet arisen, such as loving-kindness for ALL Beings, compassion and pity for ALL creatures, sympathetic joy and equanimity.

The seventh part is RIGHT MINDFULNESS. To contemplate as impermanent, ill and Selfless: Body, Feelings, Perception, Mind, Consciousness, Thought, Mental States, Mental Objects and Mental Activity. To grow revulsion for the world, seeing it for the decaying creation that it is, and to grow dispassion, total detachment, calm, tranquility, seeing that everything is not Self. To disregard all that is perceived, remaining aloof from both the pleasures as well as the pains arising from the creation of senses and sensuality.

The eighth part is RIGHT CONCENTRATION. Aloof from the world, aloof from evil states, aloof from all sensations from the senses, dwelling in solitude, seclusion, ardent, diligent, Self-resolute, develop one-pointedness of Mind through intense meditation and reflection.

To enter in, AND THEN TRANSCEND, eight higher states of consciousness that lead to increasing Intuitive Wisdom, Insight and Direct Super-Knowledge, and to destroying the addictions and cravings, and to realizing True Reality, effectively piercing the shell of ignorance and delusion. As one attains the higher states of Mind, Consciousness, the true nature of how things really are can be seen clearly, both intuitively and with supreme effort, by direct Super-Knowledge. True Reality unfolding, Self-Enlightenment of Self by Self.

THE EIGHTFOLD NOBLE PATH

The developed links of the Eightfold Noble Path are these: Purity of Moral Habit is of purpose as far as Purity of Mind; Purity of Mind is of purpose as far as Purity of View; Purity of View is of purpose as far as Purity through Crossing Over Doubt; Purity through Crossing Over Doubt is of purpose as far as Purity of Knowledge and Insight into the Path and what is NOT the Path to True Reality; Purity of Knowledge and Insight into the Path and what is NOT the Path to True Reality is of purpose as far as Purity of Knowledge and Insight into the Course, into Progress along the Path; Purity of Knowledge and Insight into the Course, into Progress along the Path, is of purpose as far as Purity arising from Knowledge and Insight; Purity arising from Knowledge and Insight is of purpose as far as Nirvana realized, without any attachment remaining for what was created, impermanent, ill and without essence, Selfless.

 

THE SEVEN LINKS OF ENLIGHTENMENT :

STAGES OF MINDFULNESS, INVESTIGATION, ENERGY, ZEST TRANQUILITY, CONCENTRATION, AND EQUANIMITY.

The Seven Links of Enlightenment to cultivate begin with MINDFULNESS, contemplating body and feelings, mind and mental states, thought and ideas, ardent, clearly conscious of them and mindful of them so as to control the covetousness and dejection common in the world; followed by INVESTIGATION of the Dharma, learning and remembering the doctrine that leads to True Reality, the Uncreated; followed by ENERGY of effort; followed by ZEST; then TRANQUILITY; then CONCENTRATION; and finally EQUANIMITY.

THE FIVE CONTROLLING FACTORS ARE:

The Power of Faith, the Power of Energy, the Power of Mindfulness, the Power of Concentration, and the Power of Insight.

THE BASIS OF PSYCHIC POWER

The Basis of Psychic Power are the features of Desire, Energy, Thought, and Investigation, together with the co-factors of Concentration and Struggle, with the focus of will: “I WILL win, attain, realize and abide in Nirvana, the Deathless, the Unborn, True Permanent Absolute Reality Realized, right here and right now.” And the practice that leads to the cultivation of Psychic Power to win the goal is the Eightfold Noble Path.

THE THREE CONTROLLING FACULTIES ARE:

The Consciousness that says: I shall know the unknown, the Unborn, the Uncreated, ALL of what is to be known, THE True Permanent State of Reality; then followed by the Consciousness of Knowing, and then followed by the Consciousness of One who HAS the knowing.

And the “knowing” by Intuitive Wisdom, Insight, and Direct Knowledge is this:

The True Permanent State of Reality is Nirvana, THAT which is the Unborn, the Unmade, the Un manifested, the Not-Made, the Unconditioned, the Truth, the Uncreated, the Un constructed, the Not-Created, the Subtle, the Stable, the Undecaying, the Unaging, the Undying, the Deathless, the Taintless, the Peace, the Bliss, the Purity, the Excellent, the Perfection and Grandeur of Wisdom, the State of Freedom from Ill, the Release from Ill, the Nameless, the Serenity and Purity of Absolute Changeless Reality ITSELF, the Norm, the Wonderful, the Goal, the REAL.

In short, THE END – what always was, not compounded, permanent and IS with ALL that has been CREATED, compounded, impermanent and fleeting, CEASING TO BE. Existence, with its realms of sense, form and formlessness, the physical universe and all realms from the hells to the heavens ARE ALL CONSTRUCTIONS.

WHAT IS   ABSOLUTE PERMANENT REALITY

Fabricated artificial realities, with Self, THAT WHICH IS ABSOLUTE PERMANENT REALITY ITSELF, experiencing “vicariously” senses, sensations and sense experiences through incalculable manifested creations of Body and Mind — “Beings” – in incalculable varieties of manifested created worlds of both materiality and immateriality – low, middle and high – realms ranging from the heavens to the hells.

But ALL that is created is impermanent, subject to decay and ending, and thus inherently a state of ill-being, and therefore Selfless, for the true nature of Absolute Reality ITSELF is not truly part of or in these manifestations, this round of playing “sand-castles” — this vast puppet show of make-believe fiction, this delusion supported by a state of Self-Ignorance.

According to Buddhism, any “Being” that does not resolve to attain Self-Enlightenment and True Reality will continue to “reform” these constructed fabricated realities of sense desire, form, and formlessness. Continuous future rebirth will be and each “life” will be good or bad, happiness or unhappiness, pleasure or pain, or a combination of the two, all according to the good or evil PAST deeds done of act, speech and thought, with MIND is the forerunner of all manifestations of constructed realities and created fabricated individual entity within such conditioned, made states of existence.

ESCAPE FROM BIRTH & REBIRTH :

In short, a pendulum of rebirth, going back and forth continuously between hells, heavens and the physical universe, UNTIL the SELF of each “Being” decides to make an end of all manifesting, an end to living vicariously through constructions of artificial realities, to make an ESCAPE from what has been created, from what has become a tangled decayed, putrid manifested mass of suffering, pain and anguish perpetuated by craving, hatred, lust, delusion, illusion and ignorance.

The evidence of perpetuating, continuous rebirth and reforming, with future “lives” determined according to former deeds done in PAST lives, can be readily seen in the wide diversity of Beings born into this world who immediately have great good fortune or have great misfortune, EVEN THOUGH NO DEEDS OF ANY KIND HAVE YET BEEN DONE IN THEIR NEW LIFE! Think about this and then compare your “present” life to the lives of the other five billion “human” Beings in this world, and indeed to the lives of ALL the world’s different types of Beings.

ESCAPE FROM   REPEATING ILL

The goal of Buddhism is to escape this REPEATING ILL that has arisen, this repeating rebirth and reforming, via the destruction of the “craving” for senses and sensations of the senses, for rebecoming as this or that, for delusion and for ignorance.

And if you think the world is NOT really full of despair, suffering, pain, and anguish, YOU NEED TO EXAMINE CLOSELY the nature of this world you live in without the “rose-colored glasses.”

Just because in this life YOUR suffering and anguish are not “too bad” you may not yet be immune from rebirth where your next life is as horrible as tens of millions of human lives are NOW this very day throughout this world.

Think of “life” and ALL THAT HAS BEEN CREATED as sort of like an addictive repeating daydream – very, very old, incalculable in age, long corrupted, perverted, debased, become tainted by decomposition.

THE WORLD IS LIKE A DREAM, AWAKE FROM THE DREAM

To awake from the fantasy, the first step is for the Self to investigate, analyze and reflect on what is really going on around here, and thus see, that ALL IS IMPERMANENT, and then to see and know that what is impermanent, fleeting and subject to change is inherently ILL, ANGUISH and UNHAPPINESS.

Then, with Perfect Intuitive Wisdom, KNOW that whatever is impermanent, subject to change and therefore ill cannot be SELF IN ITS TRUE NATURE. The Self THEN must begin to look for a means of escape from this addictive daydream, this nightmarish artificial reality that has arisen that IS pain, anguish, and suffering.

Has it not yet occurred to you: WHY do I, liable to birth, disease, anguish, decay, aging, and death seek those things likewise liable to birth, disease, anguish, decay, aging, and death, that which to is impermanent.

Would it not be to my assured permanent well-being that I, although being liable to birth because of Self, to disease, anguish, decay, aging, and death, having seen the peril of what is likewise liable to birth, should instead seek Nirvana, TRUE PERMANENT ABSOLUTE REALITY, the permanent security from this CREATED manifested mass of pain, anguish and suffering.

Material shape, feelings, perception, activities and mind/consciousness are an addictive lure to perpetuating false realities within these fabricated realms of existence, these conditioned, made, artificial, temporary, transitory, fictitious states of existence. Ultimately, desire for these constructions MUST be put away in order for the permanent bliss of True Reality to be realized.

WHAT IS SELF?

And WHAT IS SELF, True Permanent Absolute Reality? From the perspective of a constructed creation in a constructed world in a fabricated reality, a “Selfless” mind could never know the nature of the Uncreated. True Reality of Self is unfathomable, inconceivable, immutable, inscrutable, deep, boundless, unmeasurable, markless, signless, undefinable, incomprehensible.

Only Self, Supremely Awake, can know ITSELF. And the Self of a given manifested created “Being” that is FULLY awake, that is called a BUDDHA.

Now, what is seen, heard, sensed, known, attained, sought after, thought out by Mind is impermanent. Perfect “CORRECT” views cannot be created from something created, a construction that is Selfless. Only True Permanent Absolute Reality, through ITS Self-Realization, Intuitive Wisdom and FULL Self-Awakened Enlightenment can KNOW.

Absolute True Reality IS Self. But since ABSOLUTE TRUE REALITY is incomprehensible, is not the view then that “this” – a manifested BEING after dying, I as this personality, this individuality — will become permanent, lasting eternal, not liable to change, I will stand fast unto the eternal, is this not complete folly since ALL that is created and impermanent is essentially fantasy, a mental puppet show. This is why a Buddhist eliminates all false views and the vain conceit that “IN” what is CREATED and IMPERMANENT there is “anything permanent” that can truly say, “I AM, MINE, I SHALL BE and I AM THE DOER.”

But… “through” what is manifested, the following can be said:

Body, feelings, perception, activities and mind/consciousness are not the Self. Self-does do not have body, feelings, perception, activities and mind/consciousness. Body, feelings, perception, activities and mind/consciousness are not in the Self. The Self is not in the body, feelings, perception, activities, mind/consciousness. These constructed things in fabricated fantasy realities, according to a Being who follows fundamental Buddhism, are looked at as, “These CREATED things are NOT mine, these am I not, these things are not the Self of me, and are not the Self of all Beings in all fabricated realities.”

THE TEN ILLUSIONS OF SELF

The Ten Factors  that “bind” Beings to perpetuating themselves in artificial, manufactured, fictitious realities are:

1. Notions of a permanent individual personality, soul or self
2. Attachment to wrong views, rites, rituals, dogma, superstitions
3. Doubt and confusion
4. Liking, attachment, passions, sense desires, lust, greed
5. Disliking, aversion, hatred, malice, ill-will, spite
6. Lust and craving for perpetuating forms and hereafter’s of Fine Materiality
7. Lust and craving for perpetuating formlessness and hereafter’s of Immateriality
8. Wrong views of conceit plus pride and arrogance, declaring “I am the doer”
9. Excitement for constructions and perpetuating artificial realities, Self-Delusion and Self-Illusion
10. Addiction to Self-Deception and a complete state of Self-Ignorance, necessary for the ILLUSION of artificial realities and individuality to seem real, necessary for not seeing the impermanence and ill for what it is, and the pain and peril associated with these addictive, ill-conceived, conditioned, fleeting states of fabricated fictitious existence.

This comprises “the engine” that drives the continuation and repetition for each Point of View of Self.

The goal is to destroy the addictions, the cravings, that perpetuate the manifesting of constructed realities where there is the VICARIOUS experience of senses, sensations and feelings within constructed worlds within fabricated realms, all of which are impermanent, ill and Selfless. This ending of all cravings, addictions and manifesting equals Nirvana, the True Permanent State of Reality, FREED from what has arisen.

BUDDHISM AND THE DHARMA  IS THE PATH TO ENDING THE ADDICTIONS &  THE CRAVING.

Buddhism and the Dharma (dhamma) or doctrine is the Path to ending the addictions, the craving, the becoming again and again of constructed false states of existence; and instead, attaining the goal, THE TRUE STATE OF PERMANENT REALITY. And with the realization of that true state of permanent reality, that is the end of all suffering and anguish, the ending of all rebirth, the ending of all that is created, impermanent, ill and Selfless.

All craving, all addictions, all fetters MUST ultimately be renounced, destroyed, ended, forsaken and abandoned in order to end all rebirth, to end all renewal of false manufactured realities, and to win Nirvana, the Deathless, the true permanent state THAT IS, IN FACT, THE ONLY TRUE REALITY.

All constructed false states of existence and all constructed creations of all elements of both materiality and immateriality, material shape, body, sense organs, internal and external sense fields, sensations, feelings, experiences, perception, activities, mind, consciousness, thought and mental states are impermanent, ill and without Self. All constructions from a Buddhist perspective are looked at as, “Not mine, these creations am I not, these are not for me the Self, the Self of me.” The true nature of Self, which is not OF or IN these things is the Unborn, the Uncreated, the Deathless, THAT which is inconceivable.

“Whatsoever, anywhere, in anything that has become, manifested; is put together, constructed; is thought out and affected, mentally created; is dependent on something else, on anything else, IS IMPERMANENT. What is impermanent that is inherently unhappiness, anguish, ill. What is impermanent, unhappiness, anguish and ill that is not mine, or of me, what am I not, that is not the Self of me.”

SELF IS; but this, all else, is not. What is permanent is what is real. What is impermanent is what is not real.

All “this” – everything — is created, thought out and affected, fleeting, impermanent, and is but a Selfless fantasy, an exhausted intellection, a notion, an imagining, a state of delusion, ALL made of thought, which must inherently end in dissolution. Everything is a decomposing round of make-believe fiction. And for one who no longer has any attachment or desire for what does not exist in truth, there is no longer mental anguish or rebirth.

NATURE OF THINGS CREATED

Things are created, they are inherently subject to decay, and then finally, they have dissolved again.

For a very long, long time each Mind, each “point of view” of Self in this round of make-believe, has been tainted by craving, by lust, by hatred, by delusion, and by illusion. And by a tainted Mind, and point of view of Self, “Beings” are tainted. By Purity of Mind, and point of view of Self, Beings are made pure. Mind and each point of view of Self has been ensnared in delusion, addicted to illusion, craving the pleasures of the concept of six spheres of sense; craving individuality and continuing rebirth as this or that; craving false views that support the delusion; and craving ignorance to continue what has been created, what has arisen.

Consider this: If the cravings and fetters of a given Being – a point of view of Self – had been destroyed in the previous “expression” of a constructed reality, there would have been no becoming again, NO new rebirth, no reforming of a new body and mind and continuing point of view. And thus, there would have been no new struggle, no new suffering, pain, anguish, grief, sorrow, lamentations, despair, sickness, disease, old age, decay, and death. Each Being, each point of view of Self, must resolve, sooner or later, that IT SHALL NOT BE AGAIN, AND MINE IT SHALL NOT BE. This point of view has come to closure – Nirvana.

But until “a point of view of Self” awakes, makes an end of the craving for senses, sensations and pleasures of the senses; for perpetuating continued individuality, the rebecoming again and again of point of view in these manifestations; for delusion and false views; and for ignorance; then these artificial “created” realities will continue, and the pain and anguish and suffering of them.

And while these fabricated artificial existences continue, there is the CONTINUED PERIL of future pain, anguish, and suffering, of future rebirth, manifesting AGAIN within LOWER fabricated worlds of increasing anguish because of past EVIL deeds of thought, word and action.

Until a created “Being” wins Nirvana, comes to closure, winning the Deathless, then for that Being what has been CREATED will continue, each Being wayfaring among constructed worlds and realms – high, middle and low.

FRICTION BETWEEN GOOD  AND EVIL

There will be the fruition of GOOD deeds of thought, speech and action; AND ALSO there will be the fruition of EVIL deeds of thought, speech and action.

There will be MERIT in deeds of giving, sacrifice, offering and of loving kindness and compassion in thought, speech and actions toward other Beings (of all types); and there will be DEMERIT in such deeds as lying, slander, gossip, abusive speech, killing, stealing, sensual and sexual misconduct, wrong views and malevolent thought, speech and actions toward other Beings (of all types).

Beings ARE the heirs of their deeds. Deeds determine karma and karma determines future births and future events. This is how things work. This is what determines the different “storylines” for each Being for each life.

And this world is, and the world beyond is. And in this world, there are “Beings” who have properly traveled THE RIGHT PATH OF ESCAPE TO NIRVANA, who have won THE GOAL, who have completed “the great quest” for the ultimate truth. They have destroyed the addictions, the cravings, the delusion, and illusion, and they have reached Perfection, who of themselves by Supernormal Knowledge have fully realized this world, the world beyond, and WHO SEE THE WAY THINGS TRULY ARE and proclaim it.

BUDDHISM AS A CORRECT MEANS OF ESCAPE FROM ANGUISHES, PAIN & SUFFERING  AS  AN EXIT SIGN

In conclusion, think of Buddhism as a correct means of ESCAPE from a state of make-believe. And escape from the satisfaction of the senses and the peril of the senses. It could be thought of like this: It is like being in a DARK theatre, vicariously enjoying the “make-believe experience” of a movie – fabricated existences in a fabricated reality. But the theatre is very old, decayed, on fire and now a source of pain. The Dharma of Buddhism is the EXIT SIGN.

WAY OUT OF ANGUISH

If you want to escape permanently the pain, anguish, and suffering, and continuous cycle of rebirth, struggle, anguish, decay, dying and death, and all the future pain and peril that go with it, you follow the exit sign. Buddhism IS the sign that says: THIS IS THE WAY TO SAFETY, THIS IS THE WAY OUT OF ANGUISH. The choice of when to escape is the decision of each Being.

If you want to pursue this religion, you should reflect on what you have read – investigating, analyzing, testing and weighing up the meaning for yourself.

you should begin the Eightfold Noble Path, a course leading to practice and concentration where Knowledge, Insight and Intuitive Wisdom WILL arise within the SELF of YOU as you progress along the Noble Path, to be maintained until you win The Goal, Nirvana, True Reality Self-Realized, freed from ill, freed from all that has become, freed from all that is created, freed from all that has arisen, freed from this state of Self-Delusion, freed from this round of make-believe fiction.

That concludes our belief of what Fundamental Buddhism is actually all about. For more teaching, you need to reflect, study, investigate, meditate and concentrate.

Thyself is   the  Geeta  and  Geeta  is   thyself

 We can perceive that Geeta is Lord  Krishna Himself and Lord Krishna himself is Geeta. The moment you come into contact with Geeta, it means your temporal being, of no entity, comes into contact with the with the PROFOUND TEACHINGS OF Lord Krishna, MEANS, into divine contact with the divine personality of Lord Himself.  You are in contact with Lord  Sri Krishna Divine  Being Lord Krishna. Geeta addresses all our doubts, problems and provides solutions to all your world as well as divine related issues. The humanity has been blessed forever through the divine teachings, philosophical tenants, profound concepts advised by Lord Thyself through Arjuna. The ultimate result of deep and dedicated study of Geeta is Peace, bliss .,  and the vision of the   God  Himself through one ’s inner view.

Lord  sri Krishna says :   Vidya  tapodhyam  pootaatma !

Education, real education is not an easy task. One has to perform and enter into intensive meditation, penance, study, practice to get educated in trust terms of the term. One has to forego, worldly pleasures, serve his mentor to the utmost in order to receive the highest education.      wealth, money, gold, reputation are necessary for the physical world (samsara), somberly, education spiritual penance, service are necessary for the inner world.    The intellect develops with education with service ones he artfulness widens. During the  Sanatana ( ancient times within the Gurukul Ashrams  (   mentor’s shelters or abodes)  service and education used to be provided in equal proportions. Lord Shri Sriram got the education by intensive service to his guru Viswamitra by walking alongside his mentor through dense forests. Lord  Si Ram, though an incarnation of Lord Vishnu thyself, was found lifting pious grass  & wood for performing  Yagya ( pious fire )  as a service to Sandeepa and thereby earned his divine education. Today in the  Phrase “ RISHIKUL ‘ WHICH MEANS, Service  & Education .,  the element ‘ Ru’ is being removed leaving the element “SKUL’     that evolved as today’s  SCHOOL.

Lord Shri Krishna, though the recognized  Universal Guru (Jagatguru, viz described as. Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum ‘    the Lord Earned his highest divine Education which also includes the formal education, by service to his Guru . and remained as an ideal as an immortal for the future.

Lord  Sri Krishna served the cows‘ Aamani Manyadomaana’ ,   to prove this when Lord was going to Madhura, tears begun rolled down the eyes of the cows ( cattle ) , in tragedy for LORD WAS GETTING DEPARTED FROM THEM. That is what  Krishnam Vande Jagatgurum ‘coveys..

During the Performance of the ‘Rajsuya Yog,a ‘  Lord  Krishna displayed extraordinary humility by washing the feet of the elders and taking the same as the holy waters.

When  Bhisma .  took the oath to kill all the Pandavas in the great epic War OF Maha Bharat the next day, LordKrishnsa realized THROUGH HIS DIVINE VISION  (his inner vision) and accompanying Draupadi ,  went to the Tent where Bhishma was resting. Asked Draupadi to take the blessing of  Bhishma ,   the moment  Draupadi entered the tent and saluted Bhisma in response Draupadi touched  Bhisma’s feet, who blessed her “  Saubhagyavati Bhava”  , ( be fortunate of lining along with family ( husband )/ Live long as the pious wife with Husband ) . And then Bhisma realized that she was accompanied by Lord Krishna’; the divine universal existing in the guise of the human form was holding the shoes of Draupadi in all his humility  !.( what a divine humility, what a divine love for Draupadi, his Sister! So Bhisma had to keep his blessing truthful, and the lives of Pandavas were ensured safe by Lord before their lives endangered by the oath of Bhisma for whom the past, present  & future have no meaning. He knew. He knows and He will know, the worldly events that happen and will happen.

Every evening after the battle, the horsemen used to take their horses, and leave them for bathing, feeding and drinking water. Whereas Lord Krishna used to  take his black divine Horses, stallions  to a riverside Every  evening   after the  battle  and  used to  give them  bathing  with his own divine  hands  and  used sprinkle water over their faces  with   great love  & compassion ,  and those  horses  used to  look at   Lord  with   so much affection that, this episode  has been described in         Kannada Mahabharat, of Kumar Vyasa, that   how  fortunate  those horses were  ?

Pray for an opportunity to serve all living  & non-living being, even the animals, trees and the nature this life is a  divine gift of Lord given to you is invaluable. .

Lord  sri Krishna says :

‘UTTISTA, JAGRITA , PRAPYAPARANNI BODHITA !’

DEAR  Mortals  ( people ) ,  you are all born with an aim, a destiny and to fulfill a divine duty ., have full faith in the almighty. Do not fear even the lightning sounds and whirl winds, Do not stop till you reach your goal.

                   You can move the mountains by your unshakable faith in the divinity and in the Lord.

Lord  sri Krishna says :

GEETA SASTRA EDAM PUNYAM !

Study Geeta,  invoke Geeta, propagate Geeta, this should be the ultimate goal in your lives. This divine goal removes all your obstacles and paves a path towards your success, happiness, and bliss, removes darkness in your being and replaces it with enlightenment. THE  SANSKRIT WORD “ punyam’ conveys a great many meanings. the result of good deeds will change your thinking,  speech, actions and thereby your situations, circumstances in one’s life also change this changes leading to bliss, success, health are referred to  in general as PUNYAM.

I take the liberty to mentions some contemporary western thoughts, which also convey the above.

• Henry David Thoreau says “ Have you build your castles in the air? Good, that’s where they should be built. Now, go to work and build  foundations under them”
• M.Bristol says: Thought is the original source of all wealth, all success, all material gain all great discoveries and inventions and of all achievement.

          Never The Less, the study, understanding, and propagation of SRIMAD BHAGAVAT GEETA bring positive vibes and changes at the thought level and changes everything in one’s situation altogether.

I refer to some more  such world famous  ideas   as below :

• Lombard says “ The quality of a person’s life will be determined by the depth of their commitment to excellence. no matter what their chosen field”
• Maxwell says: Make every thought, every fact, that comes into your mind pay you a profit. Make it work and produce for you. T6hink of things not as they are but as they might be, Do n’t  merely dream –but create “
• Once your changes taking place at your mind level, things all around you the world in which you are living. would start changing according to the changes happening inside your mind.
• Thomas D Says: “The world is like a great mirror. It reflects back to you what you are. If you are loving. if you are friendly if you are helpful. The world will prove loving, friendly and helpful to You. The world is what you are”

Science , Technology,  Philosophy , Psychology ,   Art of war , Strategies ; warfare , Personality development, Positive thinking ,Professionalism,    business , corporate and self  management , Moral & intellectual & value  education , information , Communicational & team  management ,  literatures Sociology, anthropology ,  Human  Evolution ,  History , Astronomy ,  Cosmology , you ask for any subject or topic , you will find it  in Bhagavat Geeta . Such is the greatness immortality of Geeta.

So it Can be Concluded invariably that, “GEETA SASTRA EDAM PUNYAM !” such greatness is inherent in the  Srimad Bhagavat Geeta.

 

INSIGHT OF DHAMMAPADA

INDEED  BY DOING WRONG  TO THOSE  WHO SHOULD NOT BE WRONGED, ONE IS SURE TO SUFFER FOR IT “

“My son, an arahat does not  get angry with anyone  he is restrained in his senses  and is perfectly CALM AND  SERENE “

“As a solid rock is not shaken by the wind, even so, the wise are not  ruffled by PRAISE or BLAME”

“Irrigators lead the waters fletchers to bend the shafts, carpenters bend the wood, the wise control themselves “

Do not dwell in the past . . . . Do not dream of the future . . . . .Concentrate the mind  on the present MOMENT “

Associate not with Evil Friends,. . . .Associate not with mean men . . . .Associate with Good friends . . . .  .Associate  with NOBLE MEN “

The Good  Give up ( Attachment for) Everything. the saintly prattle not with sensual craving whether affected by happiness or by pain. The Wise  show neither elation nor depression “

It is in the nature of foolish to be full of sorrow and feel depressed when things go wrong and to be full of gladness and feel elated when things go well. The wise however can withstand the Ups and Downs of Life.

Fools when doing evil deeds do not know them being evil, but they cannot escape evil consequences.

Neither for the sake of oneself nor for the sake of another (does a wise person do any  He should not desire son, Wealth or Kingdom by doing wrongdoing, by unjust means. He should not seek his own success. Then only such a one is indeed virtuous, wise and righteous.

There is no evil that can not be done by the liar who has transgressed the one law of truthfulness and who is indifferent to a world beyond.

One who is not afraid lies and one who does not care what happens in the future existence will not hesitate to do any evil.

Therefore, with the intelligent, the wise, the learned, the enduring, the dutiful and the Ariya, with a man of such virtue and intellect should one associate, as the moon follows the STARY PATH.

The Good & the rare .. . .

Rare is birth as the human being. Hard is the life of mortals. HARD IS THE HEARING  OF SUBLIME TRUTH. Rare is the appearance of Buddhas.

DO GOOD & BE GOOD . . . . .

Not to do any evil to cultivate good, to purify one’s mind, this is the teaching of Buddha.

But who has this feeling fully cutoff up rooted and destroyed, gains peace by day and by night.

In this sky there is no track, outside there is no saint, Mankind delights in Obstacles. The Tathagatas are free from

Not by mere eloquence. Not by handsome appearance does a man become good-natured Should he be jealous, selfish and deceitful.

The way is Not in the Sky. The Way is in the Heart.

Easy is the life of shameless one, who is imprudent as a crow, backbiting. Presumptuous, arrogant and corrupt  ( means Going beyond what is wrong )

Hard is the life of modest one who ever seeks purity, humble clean life or reflective.

Without health, life is not life. It is only a state of languor and suffering an image of death.

Three things can not be long hidden, the Sun, the Moon and the TRUTH.

Calm is his mind . . . . Calm is his speech. . . . . .Calm is his action

Who rightly knowing is wholly freed, perfectly peaceful and equipped.  equipoise

Health is the greatest gift, contentment the greatest wealth, faithfulness is the BEST RELATIONSHIP.

I never see what has been done. I only see what remains to be done.

Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle and the life of the candle will not be shortened, happiness never decreases by being SHARED.
